Hi Can anyone help me please?
I have been reading up on various bloggs and it seems that the "Thermistor" needs moving lower?
I have taken the panel off the inside and there seems to be 2 thermistors one stuck in the grill at the top and one on a mounting clip at the bottom, does anyone know what one to move?
how far?
Thank you in advance for your help... BB

There's no thermistors on that model number you posted. They were on the old ones ten years ago , is there any ice on the tubes at the back. A total defrost for 24 hrs might help it out.

Thank you for a quick response, I left it switched off a month ago for the weekend and the receptacle in the back filled up with water nearly to the top.... The system then seemed to work for a few weeks and the fridge has now stopped working again...
Today I stripped the 2 back covers out of the freezer section and it was frozen solid, I defrosted it with a hair dryer and this time the receptacle in the rear overfilled and there was a large pool of water under the fridgefreezer... I am hoping this now works properly...
I read on the internet that this system sometimes had a sensor moved by hotpoint engineers and then worked better? Any clues would be appreciated?

It's the defrost heater that gets moved down near the gutter tray to help the ice melt.

Thanks I will put it closer to where the Ice built up...
Thank you for your help and have a great weekend.. BB
