I have the same problem with exact fridge freezer model changed bulbs still dont work. Did you find a fix for yours?
If they are Edison Screw lamps unplug the appliance and check that centre contact is making contact with lamp.
As for the switch, is there a 'sliding arm' that goes through a slot in the casing rather than a visible button around the edge?

Screws make contact ok cant see any sliding arm going into casing door pivots on 2 points??
