Hi
I have a Hotpoint washer and have recently noticed a puddle of water underneath.
Upon investigation when the washer is washing a drip appears from the drum underneath where there is a row of screws which looks like where the drum is joined together
The drip of water is quite consistent and soon leads to a pool of water after a full wash.
Is this an easy fix or is it a major problem ?

The wash tub is two halves bolted together. There is a seal between the two. This may beleaking. I would remove the wash tub and screws, run a line of silicone sealant and refit the front. To remove the wash tub is quite involved. The lid, front, door seal clamp, weights, hoses and suspension pegs must be removed.

Many thanks...
