Hotpoint RL78P Fridge Problem

My fridge has stopped cooling. The light inside still works but there is no sound coming from the condenser. Can anyone offer a few pointers in diagnosing the problem.

I can't even get the cover off the termination box at the back of the fridge. There's obviously a knack to it.

Just to close this off, and to whom it may concern - I managed to fix this problem by replacing the thermostat.

Nothing much difficult about it, apart from a wee struggle removing the unit that contains the thermostat, like the termination box at the back, I feel Hotpoint could have made access easier.
