hotpoint washing machine

my washing machine went bang half way through the cycle,found the
fuse had blown so i fitted a new one,the washer main light still didnt come on, ANY IDEAS

You have an iternal fault (thats why fuse went),
Depends on age of machine as to a fix or not & also as to you fixing it or getting a man in.
If its something like a motor, you are talking plenty of £££.

Possibly door interlock gone (may have blown the pcb as well)

You have not posted any model number or product code so help will be limited.

Check the wiring loom that is routed near to the main motor, one of the wires on mine was burned out..back right, top of machine. A wire had shorted out against the main motor.
