Hotpoint WDD 960P just out of guarantee and ....

won't dry anymore. Clothes no soaking but nowhere near dry. Have searched this site and tinternet generally and appreciate that it could be a range of things.

I just couldn't find specific advice in relation to this machine.

Can anyone advise likely causes and how to rectify etc.

I've taken the lid off the WDD960P but there doesn't seem to be areset button so can only assume it's like all Hotpoints and has a "one shot stat".

Think its the beige coloured plastic gizmo on the left hand side at the top. Does that sound right?

I would also like to check the condensor and understand that its attached to the drum at the back. As the back itself doesn't seem to come off am I right in thinking that I have to remove mutliple screws to get the casing of to expose and clean the condensor.
