Hotpoint WMF760 won't stop

My machine will do a wash and spin and the water empties but it won't progress to the final drain and stop. It just keeps doing a spin and stop and spin etc. Time remaining sticks on 1 minute.

I have removed the drain pipes and checked in the filter, found a metal collar stiffener. Put it back together but it is still doing the same.

Any ideas?

Does it do the same thing when empty? It sounds like an unbalanced load.

Does the same whatever is in the machine.
Also tried it on a no heat wash but still does the same
