hotpont wmf740

i heve a problum with hotpont wmf740
its draning and filling ok. but it wont do anythig elsc.
i have clined the filter and the pipe with the ball in it.
it will run tell there is one minite lift and then just nothing.
can anyone help

Hi itsme,

if the drum is not spinning on wash or spin cycle but it fills and drains etc it could be the carbon brushes in the motor, quick and easy to change and cheap as chips in comparison to a new washer check out here
