house alarm

hi guys hope you can help........i've wired my shed up to the house alarm(accenta G3) using a door contact,i've used zone 5 on the panel.i've tried to program zone 5 by pressing PROG then 9999.pressing 5 then 1 then 5 again,then reset 3 times to come out of the installation.but for some reason when i set the alarm zone 5 is not working...i've checked the wiring and that fine!When i put zone 5 on chime the alarm recognizes it so the door contact on the shed must be ok.i just cannot understand when the alarm is set,zone 5 will not work please please can someone tell me were im going wrong!feel like burning the shed down cheers aidan.............

Is Z5 set up as as unused?

If so, you need to re-program it as an immediate zone.
