The cables supplying my house are fixed to the external wall. They run across the back wall and feed another three houses. I'm having an extension built and have heard two conflicting storeys.
I was led to believe that they could be built over (within the extension roof cavity).
I've since been told this is not the case and have to pay YEDL £335 to come and re-route them.
I heard another little whisper that the supply should have been underground many years ago and I should not be charged for them to be moved?
Thanks v much in advance for any assistance
