Hi all

Seen a house I like which is down the down from current house. Style is slightly different and this has a basement with steps leading down to the garden (as pictured), our current one is flat.

If I was to purchase, I would like to carry out a single storey rear extension to be inline with the basement walls, and to have some sort of patio, and was wondering if anyone has done anything similar in the past and ideas on how to do steps so as to not be steep and make it easier (hope this makes sense)

Any ideas or comments welcomed, good or bad

Thanks in advance

You could apply for planning permission or make a general inquiry with council to see if it's feasible. [you don't need to own the property].

Thanks

Was wondering more if anyone had a low level garden and what they had done with steps etc to hide the drop a bit better as well.

I'll make a viewing and see if any of the neighbours have done anything similar
