Does anyone know how I can change my drum spider on the above model?

I dont know where to start

I presume I have to take the front of the machine off, but as it is a washer/dryer, I would like to change it with the least amount of dismantling

Tks

I have a closer look and the front looks as if it doesn't detach.

I am definately stuck now

any ideas would be much appreciated

It's a major strip down, everything has to come off and be disconnected, timer has to be moved to avoid damage, whole tub assembly comes out through the top.
It's a two man lift for the tub assembly.
Takes around 3 hours for a professional to do it, the rear half of the outer tub will likely have to be replaced as well along with a change of sump hose and modifications to the pressure systems.
As far as I remember the inner drum and spider come as one unit. It's not bolted together.

Being a data engineer, is most of the cabling plug in's and terminals etc.?

if so I should not have too many problems

apart from muscles/lifting etc.

It will be a darn sight cheaper for the next few years than paying for a new one

If it needs the back half of the tub, an inner drum and spider, a tub seal, new sump hose and pressure system modification kit then it'll cost more than replacing it with the cheapest machine on the market.

Half way thru stripping it down I had already made that decision

A new one is being delivered on Wednesday
