Looking to paint over a tiles in a small cloakroom, I believe I have to apply a resin first. How best to do this, which is best product and how best to prep the tiles??

Make sure the tiles are clean first...give them a wash over.

Then either a tile primer or dulux ultra grip primer or multi surface paint.

I cleaned the tiles and grout, removing any loose grout and repaired it.

I then bought proper ronseal tile paint.

Really impressed with the finish, was very time consuming and took 2 coats as old tiles were green with patterns and the paint was white.

I rushed it a bit and got a few runs, but overrall very impressed with the finish, looks as good as new tiles and seems pretty tough.

I would want to test it on surfaces though as I think it would eventually wear off.
