I bought a tap and sink but it transpired that the sink was too big for the space. I then bought a smaller sink but then the original tap had too much projection so needed to buy a smaller tap.

In now having trouble attaching it to the fitting. The one in the wall appears to be push fit whilst the tap is screw fit (1/2 inch fitting).

Is there an adapter i can get? I’m in UK if it helps. Thanks in ada

I am not a plumber. Can the push fit connection be unscrewed?

It might help if you photograph the manufacturer's name. A proper plumber might be able to advise further.
