Some one I know has posted this help request on another site.

How can I downgrade from IE8 to IE7 please.

My partner uses a program called Movex on her lap top and since upgrading to IE8 this will not work. Movex does not incidentally work with Firefox so help appreciated.

Does any one have a suggestion?

Thanks.

Tim

Might be worth trying the Compatability View (see link below) to see if the Movex will work with IE8.

Or uninstall and your computer will automatically revert to the last version (IE6 or IE7) that was installed prior to installing IE8.

Instructions for removing IE8 depending upon which version of Windows you have installed:

instead of uninstalling IE8 which i have to say has been brilliant for me, robust and fast, you may have the problem that occurs when a particular application say like flash player hasnt been recognised as an add on, just uninstall that application and then re-install it, it may then work ok as an add on or check your add on manager
