How can I get floor plans drawn up for my commercial premises?

I have a dental practice over two floors and want a floor plan drawn up for general use. How much could I expect to pay and what should I search for because when I search, I keep getting unrelated results. Im based in Hertfordshire. Thanks.

A few hundred + for a couple of plans, depending on the level of detail and the layout/size. Ask about on local Facebook community groups to see if there in anyone doing PJ's, that is a bit of work on the side. Otherwise look for one man band architectural technicians or surveyors. Any big firms will either not be interested or silly money.

PJ's = private jobs

Try your local Nextdoor site - lots of people use this for seeking out local services such as this

What’s PJ’s?

Who does the plans for those listings on Rightmove and zoopla etc?
Either estate agents or they have a surveyor do it, they are very cheap to get done, I looked at it once as a potential source of income but you get paid so little I never went down that route, I think estate agents pay about £60 or something but then of course estate agents plans woefully bad but then if that's all you need .....

Thanks. I just need something which resembles an estate agent's plan in order to keep as part of a fire risk assessment or next to my fire alarm panel to show the layout of a two floor practice.

I’ve since spoken to someone recommended by an estate agent and they’ve offered to do it for about £80 so I’m happy with that. Thx.
