How can I remove neoprene wall ties?

Hi, I have a wall that has had neoprene wall ties fitted that are too short.
They are the ones where the end snaps off when fitted.
I want to remove them and fit longer ones.
The only thing I can think is to hammer these so they drop into the cavity, will that cause a problem though?
Or is there some other way of removing them?
Thanks

You can't use the same holes.

If this is an existing wall then the retro fit ties will just be done with a single new hole through both skins, so you would not worry about the existing ties.

There are already loads of holes from the existing retrofit ties, ideally I don't want to add more holes.

But the new holes will be in the joints, and they get pointed up so you don't see them.

The bottom line is that new ties need to go in new purpose made holes, not any random existing holes or gaps. The holes are made for the size of the tie to grip.
