How can I stop water ruining kitchen cupboard doors?

Hi, There isn’t enough overhang on the cupboard on my rental property.
I’m wondering whether it’s best to glue a strip of plastic angle to the cupboard door so that it protrudes slightly and the water goes somewhere else.

Any ideas please?

Otherwise I could add a lip to the worktop itself?
Possibly wrap the cupboard doors so they are more waterproof?

This is around 12 months old

I assume that's is where the sink is. I would say soak up any water laying around after you have done the washing up. A bit of kitchen towel will do the job.

Unless it's a rental and they don't care about the infrastructure of where they live because after all it's not theirs.
If I see any sitting water around my sink after washing up I get some kitchen towel and soak it up so it doesn't seep under the inset sink (yes it's sealed) or if the counter top is not level and it slopes to the front then any standing water will do the damage as reported
