How do I avoid running lighting cables through insulation in the ceiling above?

I'm fitting 100mm acoustic insulation slabs into the floor of an upstairs room in my house.

I'm laying the ring circuit cables on top of the slabs to protect them from overheating. But the cables for the pendant light in the room below are going to have to run down, straight through the floor. I'm not sure how to avoid putting insulation around them. Is there a standard way of doing this?

For example, could I put a plastic duct around them, so that at least the insulation isn't directly touching them?

Grateful for any advice. Thanks.
