How do I block an internal door?

Hi,

Can someone please explain to me how I can brick up an internal door?
I'm a novice so not familiar with technical terms...

if you are a novice then mabey it might be easier to put a stud wall and plasterboard. Thats probably what I would do as it would be easier.

Make a timber frame inside the door way, Leave 12.5 or 9mm depending on plasterboard thickness then screw in the plaster board, then either skim or tape and joint. on both sides of the door way. Get some skirting to fit across the bottom to match the existing.
