Hi I'm needing help fitting the hive to my boiler. I had it all connected to the instructions and the hive was switching on and off as should but the boiler wasn't firing up unless I had set my old thermostat to on then it worked perfectly. Where am I going wrong? I've tried disconnecting the old receiver in the boiler but still can't get it going. Any help is appreciated, thanks

If the existing thermostat has a built in receiver, then this may need to be set to permanently on, or decommissioned properly. Where did you connect up?

The FM1 receiver mounted in the OPs boiler, unfortunately doesn't have any physical override switch.

With the power safely isolated, join together the red wires going to terminals 3 and 4 of the receiver, in a separate terminal block - that will bridge out the receiver.
