How do I convert old threaded steel pipe to 22mm copper??

Hi all,

Just to update. I got some Philmac fittings and they work a treat. BSS, PTS, Plumbase and Plumbcentre were useless. Greens kept some and were helpful but the winner was City Irrigation in Bromley. Peter (or Paul), I've forgotten now, was really useful and know pretty much everything about these fittings and keeps them in stock. Even if you are out of range of Bromley it might be worth giving him a call and discussing what you might need. I ended up with a 21-27mm x 21-27mm coupler. I slotted the 26mm steel in one end and the 22mm copper in the other end, having swapped the standard guts of one end for copper conversion guts, tightened them both up and so far so good.

Thanks for all the help.

Steve
