How do I fit an immersion heater to a old baxi

My Baxi has died.....R.I.P

it was over twenty years old never been serviced or looked after in anyway.. I need hot water. Is there an Immersion of some sort or anything I can try.... other than buying the new boiler that I cant afford!

Not enough info claire.....i assume you have a cylinder??? If so it might have an immersion in or an immersion point blanked off....if so it's possible to get someone in to fit one....not really a DIY job if no electrics. Tell us more about the system and i can be more accurate
