Hello Folks,

I noticed that during heavy downpour, out gutter overflows and then water gets through the hole in the wooden fascia, and comes inside the property.

Wondered if I could do the job myself and what do I need.

I have some left over plaster filler that can be applied to wood as well, which I used for hairline cracks. Not sure if this is OK.

I attach a photo.

The problem is the gutter not any hole in the fascia. If you don't sort the gutter out, your next question on here will be how to replace rotten timber.
