Hi,
We have just had our 1930s house replastered at the cost of a decent chunk of cash, the only room we have left is the spare room. Due to us being on some unforseen issues with the house we are running on a serious budget. Although this is my spare room and will only be used on and off we would still like it too look reasonable nice.
I would like to know from your experienced folk what would be the best and more budget concious way to repair a wall that is 3mx3m that has a few cracks and an uneven surface. We have seen ALOT of products you can use as an amateur on the market, but many have received pretty poor or mixed reviews. I am new to DIY, but i am pretty good at most things and very practial minded, but i have never plastered anything before.
So any information that you could offer would be appreciated.
