I need to fill a few holes in this ceiling. What is the technique/tools/product I should use to replicate the texture and blend it in?

The house was built in the late 90s so shouldn't be asbestos.

Thank you

Really hard to get a good match of that pattern.
Broken leather I call it.
Feather or crushed Ice I've also heard it called.
I used a thick plastic bag over a a large stipple pad to create that pattern.

Some have used a bag wrapped around a large sponge.
I've also seen a guy use a floor mop on sites to create something similar. Yeah mop the ceilings.. Ha

For DIY use a large sponge with a decent carrier bag wrapped around.
