How do I safely remove the flush bathroom mirror?

After ripping it out because of leaks and mould due to a cowboy install, we have finished refitting our first bathroom. I'm very grateful for all the help I received on this site with that job! We're about to rip out and refit our larger bathroom because the same cowboys installed it, and whilst it superficially looks good, it is also leaking, and the tiles have blown. I suspect we will find plasterboard and mould behind the tiles in the shower if the first bathroom is anything to go by.

In the larger bathroom, we have a flush-fitted mirror, as shown in the photo. What would be the best way of safely removing this, please? Thanks!

Try tapping in plastic wedges or use a decorators knife to see if it can be eased away from the wall. Otherwise carefully tap it into pieces with a hammer and chop off. Strips of masking tap will reduce breakout.

Thanks, Blup. I'll give the wedges a try.
