How do I wire up the Sunvic TLX7501 digital thermostat

Hi hope someone can help I have bought a Sunvic TLX7501 digital thermostat to replace my old 'dial' one.

The wiring instructions state the following:

1 = Off
2 = On
3 = C

The current wiring is a brown & blue wire - so which wire goes to which pin?[/img]

How was the old stat connected?

I would expect the brown to be live (from programmer) and blue to be switched live (call for heat). In which case brown to 'C' and blue to '2' (ON) as per the wiring diagram in the instructions.

It is difficult to see as the numbers are not very clear but I think it says:

1 for blue
3 no wire fixed
2 for brown
