I have just bought a Sunvic TLX7501 digital thermostat.

I am replacing an old Sunvic T40.

The T40 has 4 inputs R, Y, B and an earth.

The TLX7501 only needs a C (presume live) and a 1 and 2.

The leaflet says that an earth is not required.

Assuming I keep the live Red and put it to C, is it simply Y and B as 1 and 2?

Thanks

NOT THAT SIMPLE

The old one may have had LIVE and NEUTRAL going to it and SWITCHED live coming out from it.

The NEUTRAL ( most often the Blue core) should not be connected to the new digital thermostat unless the instructions say it should be.

Looked at the data sheet on SunVic site, the neutral is not needed.

Guys, this is the wiring, the new one at the top, the old T40 at the bottom with my R, Y, B showing the colours. Does this help? Can you see picture?

Thanks

Scott

Guys, grateful to all of you. Hopefully all will go well in the morning, need power off, so will wait until daylight!!
