How do you clean a pond

I assumed you were talking about your hosepipe being below water level, for sucking surface crap or any other water related waste.

My apologies if you took it badly.
But you were wrong.
I simply disagree that you advise a poster to suck on a hosepipe in order to clear waste matter.

What size is your pond exactly? i mean how many gallons does it hold?

I'm asking because you said it is filtered by a 'green genie' these are not the best filters around really, especially for a large pond.

What size UV does your filter have and when was it last changed? They need replacing periodically?

Give more details about your set up etc
