100mm, 127mm & 135mm coving - where is this measurement taken?

Is is the length of the curve from edge to edge?
Is it the vertical depth of the bottom edge from the ceiling?

Any clues gratefully received.

HI

I am looking for a supplier for 135mm coving and can't find one in the south west london area - does anyone have any ideas.

I know of one that does nationwide delivery from Sheffield and one in my local area, Chelmsford, who you would probably need to collect from, but are cheaper. I have used the Sheffield people, and very nice gear it is too.

I have bought ceiling rose from my local one and that's decent gear too.

If your requirements are ad-hoc then I reckon they will make whatever you are after, for a price

However, first of all I'd suggest just googling for 'cornice' and your location on google...

beesly and fildes building merchants sell all sizes coving look on google to see if theres 1 near you also bq do the size your after

Its measured from top edge to bottom edge but you have to flatten your tape measure against the curvature
