How do -you- prepare glossy wood for repainting?

Make the legs wider and longer.
Couple of screws in each leg times 4.

Like this

Paint one side then straight away flip over.

You have to wait for drying with you're current setup!

i dont have anymore wood, can't do any more than i have
it isnt working, ive managed to bend all four screws simultaneously now ;-; A bathroom door is disastrously heavy and this just doesnt work, at least not without a lot more materials and stronger fixings than i have

gonna give up omn this and just lay it flat, ill endure the longer drying times

in any case, the most important part is that i'm doing the sanding outdoors, so no dust in the house
