How effective is Fernox F8 and F1

Could I please have some comments from informed people who have used the F8 product to clean out dirt and sludge in a central heating system (without a power flush) by leaving it in there for a week or two at most before emptying it three times and also using the F1 inhibitor?

Is it possible to unblock a heat exchanger which is clogging up?

Power flush or any chemicals wont clear a blockage, they can clear a partial blockage but need a flow to work, if it is actually blocked it wont do anything

So the only solution is to replace the radiator or the heat exchanger if those are the items blocked?

I would have thought that a sufficiently aggressive power flush would clean it out.

As per @ianmcd, if it’s a solid blockage, no, only option is to replace affected areas/pipes.

nope if blocked it has to be manually cleared or section cut out
