How large a wardrobe?

When people see the size of my wardrobe I tend to hear comments of why so large?

The contents that is, but I have never really bothered to count what I have. Anyone care to compare notes? Partly I suppose it's a direct result of the amount of storage space in the house and the fact that I only dispose of things when the available space is compromised.

My missus has filled all of our wardrobes, most of my clobber is across the bannister at the top of the stairs.
