How much bonding to multifinish

Hi all,

Hopefully an easy one... internal walls cement screed, bonding on top and then multi finish.

I know it's a case of how thick the bonding is but roughly how many bags of multi finish do I need for each bag of bonding please?

It was a long while ago but when my mate plastered our house about 40 years ago (we had to have damp proofing and the whole lower 1m had to be hacked off) he did it first in cement and then straight on top with a finish coat. Definitely didn’t use any bonding.

depends how thick the bonding is . what area are you looking at skimming?

2.4 m high x 1.9m X2 areas for bonding (removed chimney breasts).
Then finish plaster all the way across, so 2.4m high x 3.5m X2 areas.

3 bags. 2 coats.
4 bags if you’re not confident.
