How much fall is needed?

Hello - could anyone tell me how much fall is needed in a four foot section of 110mm waste pipe coming from a 90 degree WC connector to the soil stack? Thanks! Mick.

(adjacent / opposite) = 1 / ( tangent(2.5°) ) = 22.9

Easier way Nige - think of a degree as one in 60. For small angles it's pretty accurate.

SO 2.5 degrees is 2.5 in 60
which is 1 in 24, innit. Close enough.
