How much Gravel?

Looking for some help on how bulk bags of gravel I need?

Its for a french drain sizes below

Length - 10m
width - 50cm
depth - 50cm

I will need a layer of gravel 15cm, then the pipe laid on top (PERF LAND DRAIN 110MM), then back fill the gravel for another 20cm (35cm in total)

You won’t be far off with 1 bag.

I found and online calculator with a gravel company... put in the figures and it calculated 3 bulk bags?

I did change the 0.5 wide to 0.3 wide as prior to that it was 4 bulk bags (3ton)

I thought that was extreme, how do you work it out?

I just imagined cutting a bulk bag into 9 like a # and thought that would be close. Although when I read the post I thought the trench was 35cm wide
