Next door adjoining, began what seems like, a full house refurb back in early December. A three bed semi, not a DIY refurb, they have employed trades to do the work, and the house has been unoccupied throughout. There have been trades in most days, often even on weekends and holidays 6 months later, they are still at it.

Neither negative, nor positive - why?

Best ask them ?

When we bought our current house which was uninhabitable, we spoke to the neighbours , invited them round and outlined the timescales we were hoping to achieve - about 6 months.

In reality it took 7 months but not worried on every day but we did have strip out all the interior, replumb completely, rewire , 2 bathrooms, kitchen, windows etc etc

I think they've done well in the time to add two new basement levels, double the number of beds and incorporate a marijuana farm to help pay for it all
