How Much Sand & Cement

Hi all,

Over the bank holiday I plan on bricking up a doorway, the opening is 1800 wide by 2120 tall.

I plan to use bricks on one side and blocks on the other, I calculate about 38 blocks and 225 bricks.

Could anyone tell me how many bags of cement and sand I'll need to make the mortar, I'll be buying the sand in plastic bags as opposed to a bulk bag unless the job is very close to a full bulk bag as there a nuisance to get rid of when there's only a bit left in them.

12/15 bags of sand and 3 cement will do, in a belle mixer i use 4 bags of sand and 3/4 bag of cement and will do roughly 100 brick.
