How much sealing comound to buy?

My shower tray will be 700mm x 700mm.

Will I have enough sealing compound if I buy a 310mm tube of the stuff?

Thanks.

MX do a good job giving technical details of their products. But, nothing on how much area their sealing compound (WAN) will cover.

Just to seal between the top of the tray and the tiles?

To place under the tray. Forms a seal or a bed between the tray bottom and the plywood base.

I imagine one 310ml tube should do. Weighs 1kg.

How uneven and/or level is the floor? Best get three tube and credit back any you don't use

The answer from the manufacturer of the shower, and the sealant compound (MX) said:

"Thank you for your email. Yes, 1 tube of adhesive should be plenty for a tray of that size. We advise to squirt the mixture in 6mm beads in strips the full length of the tray, making the strips 25mm apart. This should give you plenty of coverage once the tray is weighted down."

So, 1 tube will suffice for my 700mm x 700mm shower tray.
