...if i call out someone to have a look at my boiler. i have no heating but hot water. is there a standard sort of call out charge?

also who should i be calling, a plumber, heating engineer etc.?

do they charge you if the problem cant be fixed?

i live in glasgow

I have a standard charge of £60 + VAT for the first hour as an attendance fee.

If the fault is awkward or needs parts then these are charged extra along with all extra time spent getting the parts and on site.
