My father could design waveguide systems which in the trade we called plumbing.
But I doubt that he was very good at fixing a toilet.
I dont ever remember any plumbers coming round when I was small so I suppose he must have fixed the plumbing himself. He certainly used to decoke his car. ( Anyone remember decoking car engines? )
