How much to fit new boiler?

Just had a quote from a reliable plumber to supply and fit new boiler and flue kit, but I think it's a bit steep. He quotes £1800 + VAT. (ariston boiler)
It's a small flat with a wall mounted boiler. Is this about right for a days labour + boiler?

Couldnt agree more Ped! My mate is a Captain in the Medical Corps in Basra; he had to pull his pistol out 6 times in one day; this is with his rubber gloves on whilst OPERATING !!! Makes us all look overpaid

You make it sound as if having a few rads and a pump is comporable to the indulgences of plastic surgery or something - the preserve of the rich, foolish, vain and wealthy?

It is. You don't NEED rads upstairs to start with, and you certainly don't NEED them in toilets. How much time are you going to spend in there? We haven't got upstairs heating or a toilet radiator, we don't have plastic surgery either.
