how noisy are new boilers

Hi,

i'm going to have to replace our very old back boiler

this means it will have to move into my 3 year olds bedroom

i was wondering how noisy the newer boilers are

also it'll be connected to an immersion tank as the water pressure here is not good enough

will it wake my son up ?

Are u replacing the boiler yourself as that is the job of a RGI. If you are fitting it yourself & braking the law Baxi Bermuda's are still available.In for a penny. This action is of course not recomended.

for some reason I seem to be an installer again (not happy about that but what the hell can you do )

and we are fitting WB 30 CDI's (greenstars) and I have never ever dealt with a quiter boiler

we have installed new boilers in peoples kitchens and a couple have complained about the noise - though this is usually when a combi boiler is on max output during DHW demand.
