Anyone know if this skirting is likely to be the original skirting for my 1930's house?

Ive had to remove some skirting boards whilst I get a room re-plastered. Some has split during its removal. If the skirting is likely to be original then I'm happy to spend time repairing and repainting it. But if its just say 1980's skirting then I might just replace with new....

Its exactly 7" high so I'm guessing its an imperial size..

its ovolo skirting, you can still get it,whether the size will be spot on with yours but you might be able to add some stock to the bottom of the skirts?.

Thanks greeters. I guess if its still made then theres no way of knowing if its original? Might ask some neighbours what they have. If they all have the same then at least I know it an original shape, even if not the actual original boards?

its 'gregers'

think youve been farming too much lead m8,:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

google ovolo skirtings,loads come up.

yep almost certainly original, but should be still available

Thanks, I'm going to do everything I can to refit the skirting, I like keeping things original, unlike the wife who wants it thrown out and replaced with new. The only problem will be if the walls are different dimensions after its been replastered.
