How to add a light

this was found in my loft when i got my christams tree out. And when i got the house rewired in 96' the spark cut the supply to it.
Wonder why.

this "spur" ran straight to a junction box, to 1.5 t+e then to a 6a light switch and to a lampholder. No fusing down, no earth sleeving and if you look closley you can see the black wire and the cpc clipped on with a 1.5mm clip. wow.

Second hand cable ( or the black paint was added later )

If the weight of the cable pulls the connections out of the terminal block the live will probably be the last to go after Neutral and Earth

Cover of the junction box is not lined up for 3 exits.
