How to adjust computer shelf metal runners?

Hi guys,

Quick question about any ideas on adjusting the metal runners of a computer shelf.
Basically, the shelf doesn't slide out long enough for me to be able to use the keyboard comfortably.
Looking at the bottom of the metal runners, I can see that theoretically if I was to remove the last piece of the metal runners, it could potentially come out further. But, I have no idea how to do this without damaging the mechanism.

Any ideas?

can see the picture on your links, can you upload them to the site and post them on here.
it may be just a case of taking a few screws out and bringing your runners forward.

There's doesn't seem to be any screws apart from the ones used to fix them to the wood.

Do the pictures show the draw shelf out as far as it can go?
It looks like it should go further but the shelf seems to screwed in the correct position.
Does the draw shelf when pushed back, go all the way under the unit and stop level with front?

That's the full extension.
When pushed back in, the back of the metal extender hits the back barrier.
When pulled out, the first metal roller at the front stops where it should, at the front.
I've attached it exactly the way the instructions that came with the unit state; it's just so annoying that it doesn't (and should) come out further.
The top portion of my keyboard is obscured by the top part of the desk. I have to let the keyboard hang over its shelf to see the keys.

Do you require more pictures from any particular angle?

It defo looks like it's installed right and should come out further, there is nothing blocking the shelf from pulling out in the guides/runners?

Extend the runners, remove mounting screws, tap and make good new mounting points further forward, refit runners. Drill new mounts in runner if required.

If the desk is MDF type material, secure screws with glue into wood.

Or get a slimline keyboard. Seems like the designer never used a computer? Or maybe one of the runners has become detached, and is jamming the mechanism up? Bad pictures. Take the thing apart and see if the runners are running correctly. One faulty one would obviously cause both to fail. Buy a new runner.
