I want to put up a door curtain to help keep out the cold but need some way to attach it to the door, which is UPVC.

From the inside, the door is hinged to the right, opening inwards, with a solid wall on the right hand side. In theory, some sort of moveable right angle bracket could hold it but it would be easier if attached to the door.

I'd rather not have to risk drilling into the UPVC but don't know any strong enough "double sided sticky tape" solutions.

So something from here which can be screwed to the wall and swung out of the way isn't of any use?

That is what I was thinking of, though that company is in serious need of someone to sort out their product descriptions and website.

Though seriously more expensive than I thought it would be necessary to pay, I wouldn't order from there as they have done such a poor job of describing and marketing their product.

Thanks though for finding something on the net which is a potential solution.

Must be something wrong with the door fit if you need a curtain on it. :?:

Crap UPVC door with two large glazed panels which leaks like a sieve. Have renewed seals and adjusted fit within frame but it is just rubbish.

I've put up foil insulation and now want a curtain to block out the cold air.

In the end went with a lightweight track on a roll, cut to length and secured with the screws which came with it after pre drilling small 3mm holes.

Quite secure and a good result.
