Hi this is my first post.

After living in a caravan for 3 years I have finally moved into my house (huge renovation loads still to do). The heating was fitted 2 years ago but has not been in use due to rads being removed to plaster walls and fix floors. The heating is split into 4 zones and I have 4 drayton RF3 digistats. I had trouble getting them to work in January even though I followed the instructions. After several calls to technical I found out that one does not receive any signal and two others have faulty select buttons. As the heating was fitted 2 years ago I have no comeback on the supplier.
Is it possible to repair these units?
or
Is it possible to hard wire 2 of the 4 zones. The signal struggles to reach the third floor and the red light is on for several hours each day.
Money has run out and these wireless stats are expensive to replace. I still have floorboards loose so now would be the best time to run wires.

You cant hard wire the stats you have at the moment but suitable ones are only about £15.

If the signals struggling then you could always try moving the reciever nearer although this would require further wiring but not all the way to the stat obviously.

I would consider hard wiring all you can. RF stats aren't that great at the best of times. I certainly wouldn't wanna have to rely on four of them!
