I was advised to protect this gas pipe which goes past a front door

The section around the door is shiethed in a loose fitting plastic conduit as seen below

Can I just concrete over the conduit covering the pipe?

As long as the ends of the conduit aren't blocked then yes. (The idea is if the pipe does spring a leak you'll smell it. If the conduit ends were sealed and the thing leaked you could end up with a large gas bubble under the house).
Is that pipe before the meter or after it? If it's before then best talk to your gas transporter, they are the ones who'll need access if it leaks

Thanks very much. I will not concrete past the ends. They are not sealed. It is after the meter.

Why not get a Residential Gas Safety Certificate inspection from a Gas Safe engineer?

This thread would do better in the plumbing forum.
